Susan Janow - SJ 374 - Unframed

An abstract painting on a small horizontal piece of paper. Most of the paper is filled by a grid of pastel purple squares, each about half an inch, reminescent of the shingels on a roof or the squares of a quilt. The pastel squares are colored on top of a vibrant background of boldly striped squares, which show thorugh, uncovered, on the right side of the painting.
