This Joseph Alef piece is an energetic, colorful and abstract. The background is painted neutral colors (brown gray) with a medium sized brush. The top layers of paint are more colorful with long curving shapes and some angular linework in the top layers. the lines draw your eye across the diaginal of the plane. Alef uses all kinds of linework, curved, zig-zag, straight, circular, instead of using repitition, and fills up the entire plane evenly.
