Jane Kassner makes her mark on a found piece magazine page. In the center of creamy white paper is a rectangular portrait of a person. We can make out just some of their facial features, like their intense eyes, as Kassner adds thick, dense strokes of bright pink and orange paint. These colors become softer and darker cast against the dark blues and black of the image. These strokes spill over into the creamy paper trim.
