HENRY TROCKLE

Beginning his tenure in the Creative Growth Studio in the Youth Program, Henry Trockle entered the main program with an established portrait practice, depicting his favorite characters from film and television with a distinctive style. Tending toward caricature, Trockle uses pastels to capture icons like Darth Vader, Homer Simpson, and Mr. Bean, often blending out the background or adding bold blocks of text to caption his works.
