Donald Mitchell uses acrylic for the dark piece. A black background is covered in coral people - his classic figures. For some, their heads become their bodies, small legs and arms protruding out. Others have stout torsos. Their faces are made up of small etchings that become eyes, nose, and mouth. Unlike other Mitchell pieces that feature large groups of these characters, a mere six people float around here. They are surrounded by coral marks, perhaps a writing system or other code.
