Dan Miller uses pen to form an intricate layer of shapes, forming a blackhole-like mass in the center of the horizontal page. Over this, he adds a layer of black paint, mimicking the first layer but slightly smaller in size so that the pen is apparent. He adds a final layer of bright yellow paint that forms letters and lightbulbs.
